Ward Street Residence

This South Melbourne residence completed in 2005 was an urban infill project, built in a strongly controlled heritage area on top of a commercial kitchen and garage.

 

It is architecturally significant in its urban setting and has been recognised in a number of publications, as well as being awarded by the City of Port Phillip for its environmental design and features. We coordinated the consolidation of the titles to the property, and our role extended to construction management. The dwelling is a 120sqm single bedroom residence with open planned living featuring open fire place, smart building fabric design, automated controls and many other ESD features.
