The purchase of additional and larger buses to pick up students created a need to remodel and improve the entry, drop off and bus access to Bass Coast Specialist School. A number of logistic challenges had to be overcome during construction to maintain access to the school, not the least of which was the unusually wet period during which construction occurred. Nonetheless the project was completed in 2014, on time and on budget.
