St John of God’s Pinelodge Clinic at Dandenong asked us to develop standards for mental health patient short stay bedrooms and ensuites. After extensive modelling and research prototype rooms were developed within existing operation facilities that optimised floor space and to ensured compliance with all relevant codes.

We obtained all relevant approvals, including OH&S, building and planning permits. Construction work was completed in 2007 over a four-week period. ESD initiatives included low VOC MDF substrate board, low VOC paints, durable and low maintenance finishes for longevity and reduced use of chemical cleaners, water efficient fixtures and fittings, energy efficient light fittings.
