On August 8 Ballarat Regional Soccer Facility was announced a Finalist in the 2016 Australian Timber Design Awards, Excellence in the Use of Timber Products Cladding category.
A main feature of the facility is the timber cladded Eureka Stockade wall, designed with Ballarat’s rich cultural heritage in mind and will allow the stadium to be built in segments and in stages as various funding streams became available over time. It is fantastic to see this highly sustainable facility being recognised.
